Cowichan Lake Visitor Centre
One of the most popular hikes for our visitors is the Cowichan River Footpath. Traverse through lush forests, cross trestle bridges with exquisite river views, and enjoy an abundance of flora and fauna. The Footpath stretches from Glenora Trailshead Park to Skutz Falls and is approximately 20 km in length, with an opportunity to do a beautiful 7-8 km loop. The loop winds from the end of Mayo Road (our recommended access point) to the Mile 66 Trestle (our recommended point to stop for a picnic before crossing the river and returning to your start point). Stop in at the Cowichan Lake Visitor Centre for more information on this, and other, hikes.
